My sweet and supportive mother recommended HOW THE DUKE WAS WON to the entire women’s choir she directs. I was all, “mom, maybe you should READ it first” ?. My mother-in-law was one of my first reviewers. She’s having some health issues right now so I sent her an ARC to take her mind off things. I was nervous because she prefers mysteries to romance and also because, um, NAUGHTY BITS, but she actually enjoyed it and sent me a note saying she thought it had “…just the right amount of spice!”
It’s terrifying to send something you poured sweat, tears, and years of your life into creating out into the wide world. But it’s exciting, too. Especially when it turns out your close relations aren’t the only ones enjoying the story.

Congratulations! I understand it is a long road to be published. I am always looking to read new authors. I can’t wait to pick up yours. I read Sophie Jordan and if she says it is a good read I will look for it .
Thanks for stopping by, Ruth! Isn’t Sophie lovely? I’ve been blown away by the generosity and support of other romance writers. Have a great weekend! Lenora
