Celebrate the New Year With a Rogue!

“It’s Romancing the Stone with fewer crocodiles and more Kardashian sisters.”
– Sarah MacLean, NYT Bestselling Author

It’s already noon here in Switzerland so that means I’ve already downloaded and read the first few chapters of Sarah MacLean’s The Rogue Not Taken. The rave reviews have been rolling in, with Elyse from Smart Bitches giving it an “A” and proclaiming it her new favorite SM book. She particularly enjoyed the honey-drizzling-while-dreaming-of-bookstores scene which I haven’t reached yet, but I’m all a-tingle with anticipation.

I’ve been a huge fan of SM since she took the romance world by storm with her 2010 debut Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake. Her books sing with humor and emotion and somehow arrow straight to my heart every time. Incredibly, The Rogue Not Taken made me tear up on the dedication page and laugh out loud at the witty chapter titles in the Table of Contents. She won me over completely before I even reached page one.

I’m thinking finishing this book will be the PERFECT way to ring in the New Year so to help you celebrate I’m giving away two copies of The Rogue Not Taken.

Just tell me which Sarah MacLean book is your favorite to date (mine’s Never Judge a Lady By Her Cover – what a well-kept secret and what an incredible ending to a series) and I’ll randomly pick two commenters to receive The Rogue Not Taken.

Here’s to a New Year full of joy, laughter, love and…Sarah MacLean!

Hugs,
Lenora

    1. Hi Kate, me too! And the cover is probably one of my favorite romance covers of all time. Thanks for stopping by. – LB

    1. Hi Kim! I know, I reread that one every year. So luminous. I hear from lots of people that this latest one is very similar in style. So exciting!

  1. I LOVE SM books! But your blog post has me scrambling to order it as soon as I’m done posting this comment!

    1. Hi Shelly! I ordered in two different formats. The one from Word Bookstore included the most adorable hand drawn map of the journey!

  2. The only one I’ve read (so far) is A Rogue By Any Other Name. I’ll definitely add these titles to my TBR mountain. Thanks, Lenora!

    1. Laura, Laura, Laura…what am I going to do with you? *shakes head sadly* 🙂 Yep if you ever have time for some pleasure reading this is as good as it gets.
